Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95201
LEACHATE MONITORING, NORTH COUNTY SANITARY LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
(CASE# 3161)
We have reviewed the leachate monitoring report for December 1992 through
March 1993. We noticed that the flow rate was not included in the monitoring
report; however, you indicated in a recent phone conversation that the flow
rate will be included in all future reports.
In addition to the required monitoring, the report included laboratory results
for leachate which had been treated by a filtering process. The results for
treated leachate samples, which indicate that the volatile organics and metals
are being removed, are encouraging and the continued use of the treated
leachate for dust suppression does not appear to be a problem.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (916) 255-3136.
tde'4"f-4
ROBERT A.
