The <br /> County recently contracted with Enviract, Inc. to perform hydro- <br /> flushing and video inspection of the Leachate Collection and <br /> Removal System (LCRS) pipelines for Modules 1 and 2 at the <br /> subject site. The lines were found to be functioning properly. <br /> Some moisture was encountered near the lateral connecting pipe <br /> due to excess water from the hydro-flushing. The sump was <br /> subsequently pumped to remove the excess moisture from the <br /> system. The County will continue to pump leachate to prevent <br /> leachate head buildup on the liner. <br /> Some instances were noted where the pipe was found to be out of <br /> round. However, no instances of a collapsed or plugged pipe were <br /> observed.
