MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -3- <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> NORTH COUNTY SANITARY LANDFILL <br /> CLASS III LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> points of compliance during the first storm of the rainy season which produces <br /> significant flows and quarterly thereafter until the end of the rainy season. <br /> Surface water samples shall be analyzed for the following: <br /> Report in <br /> Parameter/Constituent Units Of <br /> Total Organic Carbon mg/l <br /> Specific Conductance (field) janhos/cm <br /> pH (field) Number <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l <br /> Hardness (as CaCO3) mg/l <br /> Chlorides mg/l <br /> Sulfates mg/l <br /> Dissolved Iron mg/l <br /> Manganese mg/l <br /> Nitrate (as N) mg/l <br /> GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> The following detection monitoring program shall be implemented at the facility <br /> to determine compliance with the "water quality protection standards". The <br /> initial monitoring network shall consist of "background" monitoring well , G-1, <br /> and downgradient monitoring wells, G-2, and G-3. The locations of these wells are <br /> shown on Attachment "B". More ground water monitoring wells shall be installed <br /> as operations progress past the initial fill modules 1 and 2. The locations of <br /> these new wells shall be submitted to the Board for review and approval prior to <br /> installation. All wells shall constitute the "points of compliance" with respect <br /> to ground water. Samples from all monitoring wells shall be analyzed for the <br /> following parameters and constituents at the indicated frequencies: <br /> Sampling <br /> Report in & Reporting <br /> Parameter/Constituent Units of Frequency <br /> Specific Conductance (field) umhos/cm Quarterly <br /> pH (field) Number Quarterly <br /> Total Organic Carbon mg/l Quarterly <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Quarterl <br /> Ammonia (as N) mg/l Quarterly <br /> Calcium mg/l Quarterly <br /> Chloride mg/l Quarterly <br /> Sodium mg/l Quarterly <br />
