Disposal Facility Inspection Report (52) <br />Enforcement Agency: I County of San Joaquin <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF DIVISION 30 OF PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />No Violations or Areas of Concern <br />xi: <br />A <br />Reguiations <br />X <br />20650 - Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />Comments: Ponding was observed at the active face. <br />a. Grade the area to promote lateral runoff of water and prevent future ponding. <br />x <br />20680 - Daily Cover <br />Comments: The site uses soil and tarps for cover. Uncovered solid waste was observed at the active face from <br />the previous day. Operator moved operation from module 4 to module 5 on March 9, 2017 and left solid waste at <br />the module 4 uncovered. <br />a. Ensure that all waste is completely covered on a daily basis. <br />b. Compacted earthen material at least twelve inches shall be placed on all surfaces of the fill where no <br />additional solid waste will be deposited within 180 days to control vectors, fires, odors, blowing litter, and <br />scavenging. <br />x <br />20750 -Site Maintenance <br />Comments: Depressions were observed in the green waste area. According to Operators Maintenance Plan solid <br />waste staff will monitor the green waste area weekly and make repairs to depressions as needed. <br />a. Repair depressions. <br />b. Provide adequate site maintenance. <br />x <br />20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Comments: There are several deep erosion channels at the module 5. Observed exposed waste. <br />a. Repair the erosion channels to prevent future waste exposure. <br />b. Provide adequate erosion control. <br />Inspection: Report Comments: <br />Notes: <br />A. Records maintained and up to date. <br />B. Measured perimeter soil gas well for methane concentration: SG -10= 0% (all three probes), SG -21=0% (all three <br />probes). <br />C.
