Disposal Facility Inspection Report (52) <br />Enforcement Agency: County of San Joaquin <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF DIVISION 30 OF PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC)AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />- Daily Cover <br />Comments: The site uses soil and tarps for daily cover. Because of the weather conditions uncovered solid <br />waste was observed at multiple locations. <br />Module 4 was covered with six to eight inches of soil. According to Operator by the end of next month up to <br />twelve inches of soil will be placed on all surfaces of module 4 where no additional solid waste will be deposited. <br />a. Ensure that all waste is completely covered on a daily basis. <br />b. Compacted earthen material at least twelve inches shall be placed on all surfaces of the fill where no <br />additional solid waste will be deposited within 180 days to control vectors, fires, odors, blowing litter, and <br />X 120820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Comments: Erosion channels observed last month have been repaired, however, new erosion channels due to <br />weather conditions were observed on the modules 4 and 5. No exposed waste observed. <br />la. Repair the erosion channels to prevent future waste exposure. <br />b. Provide adequate erosion control. <br />Notes: <br />A. Records maintained and up to date. <br />B. Measured perimeter soil gas well for methane concentration: SG -22= 0% (all three probes), SG -21=0% (all three <br />probes). <br />C. The site is using sheep to control vegetation. The sheep were onsite during the inspection. <br />D.
