SAFETY INSPECTIONS
Periodic safety inspections are an important tool in the identification, control and elimination of
hazards before they become a cause of accidents or injuries. It is our goal to locate potential
hazards that can adversely effect safety and health.
All personnel will be responsible for continuous, ongoing inspection of the workplace. When
discovered, potentially hazardous conditions will be corrected immediately or a report, using the
EMPLOYEE'S SAFETY SUGGESTION form, will be filed with the supervisor to initiate
corrective action.
Periodic, planned inspections will be made by members of management, supervision and the
work force. Each facility will be inspected at least quarterly. A copy of the report will be kept
on file at the main office and posted at the facility. Assignment, target dates for correction and
actual correction dates will be documented by the supervisor in charge of the area and reported to
management.
9
