0 0
• Building Addition for storage and baling of source-separated fibers
• Review of drainage facilities
Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Station (TMR/TS) in conjunction with the
City of Tracy have adopted an Enhanced 2005 Diversion Plan to "Recycle More
Than Before". Plans are being devised to expand all types of recycling activity at
the TMR/TS in the future that will be a "significant change" to the design and
operations of the facility which will cause a Solid Waste Facility Permit Revision
(SWFP) to occur in 2007.
The next Five-Year Permit Review is due by March 7, 2007. It is anticipated that
Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Station will be involved a CEQA process
during March 2007 and that the Five-Year Permit Review will need to be in March
2007, or wrapped into the SWFP Revision, as directed by the LEA . It is also
anticipated that additional modifications to current operation could be proposed
during 2006 and early 2007, based upon the implementation items that are
approved as part of the Enhanced 2005 Diversion Plan causing a RFI
Amendment No. 4 to be submitted 30 days prior to operations.
Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Station is committed to work with the LEA
on the current and future RFI Amendments while discussing plans to revise the
Solid Waste Facility Permit during 2006 and 2007.
1 look forward to working with you and your staff. Should you have any questions,
pleas contact me at (916) 739-1200.
Sincerely:
Evan W.R. Edgar
Principal Civil Engineer
cc: Mike Repetto, Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Station
2
