All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is no hot water for the facility. Repair/replace the water heater so that it provide hot water. The <br />correction while the hot water is repaired or replace is to heat water to 110 F for washing of the utensil and other operations. <br />The water heater must sufficient to provide water all fixtures that use hot water. The water must be properly sized. Contact <br />this department for more information. The repairs or replacement of the water heater be as of today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #31 Consumer Self-Service Food Protected <br />OBSERVATIONS: The water container for self-serve does not have a lid. Provide a lid by today. <br />The self-serve lids must be stored so that inside of the lid is facing down. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Unpackaged food shall be displayed and dispensed in a manner that protects the food from contamination. <br />(114063, 114065) <br /> #40 Proper Use and Storage of Wiping Cloths <br />OBSERVATIONS: No sanitizer solutions set up for the wiping cloths used more than once. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Wiping cloths used to wipe service counters, scales or other surfaces that may come into contact with food <br />shall be used only once unless kept in clean water with sanitizer. (114135, 114185.1 114185.3 (d-e)) <br /> #41 Plumbing Maintained; Approved Back Flow Device <br />OBSERVATIONS: The drain where the ice machine is draining into is not draining properly. Repair the plumbing by today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The potable water supply shall be protected with a backflow or back siphonage protection device, as required <br />by applicable plumbing codes. (114192) All plumbing and plumbing fixtures shall be installed in compliance with local plumbing <br />ordinances, shall be maintained so as to prevent any contamination, and shall be kept clean, fully operative, and in good repair. Any hose <br />used for conveying potable water shall be of approved materials, labeled, properly stored, and used for no other purpose.
