All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH level is too high at >8.0. Decrease the pH level and maintain between 7.2-7.8. Corrected during <br />inspection to 7.5. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool light is not working. Repair or replace the light by 30 days. Until then post a sign that no <br />swimming is allowed after dark. Reinspection is required <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br /> #37 Electrical Hazards <br />OBSERVATIONS: The electrical box for the GFI switch for the pool light is not secured and exposing electrical wires. <br />Secure this box by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter.
