All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool enclosure entrance gate lacks a "KEEP GATE CLOSED" sign. Obtain and install a KEEP <br />GATE CLOSED sign by 2 weeks. <br />The sign stating the facility's name and address s lacking. Provide by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: The covering of the pool deck (north side / shallow end) is lifting, cracked, chipped, missing. Look into <br />patching this area of the pool deck by next year. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid level of the pool is greater than 100 ppm. Reduce the cyanuric acid level to less than <br />100 ppm. Correct by next year. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #19 Depth Markers <br />OBSERVATIONS: The depth marker is missing at the east side of the deep end of the pool. Per pool service tech., he is <br />trying to locate one. His supplier doesn't have one currently. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at <br />each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth <br />markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and <br />shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
