Table 2. Percolation Test Summary
Test No., Percolation Test Percolation Rate Test Duration Comments
Date Tested Depth (ft.) (minutes/inch) (see notes)
P1,
7/28/2020
Shallow Test
3.18 1.93 1 hr. Satisfactory perc.
rate
P1,
7/28/2020
Deep Test
9.88 5.95 4 hr. Satisfactory perc.
rate
Note: A satisfactory percolation rate for a "shallow" test is greater than 1 but less than or equal to 60 minutes per
inch. A satisfactory percolation rate for a "deep" test is greater than 1 but less than or equal to 30 minutes
per inch.
Discussion of Percolation Test Results
The soils within the potential future sewage disposal area of the Site have demonstrated
a satisfactory percolation rate for the use of a standard septic system in accordance
with the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
This percolation test is considered representative of soils within a 100-foot radius of the
test location.
Discussion of Septic System Sizing
Septic system construction utilizing leach lines and seepage pits should follow the San
Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems Standards (2017) where
applicable.
LOGE 20-33 Page 8
