Thornton Rd, Thornton <br />APN 001-150-48, SR0083931 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil Suitability/Nitrate <br />Loading (SSNL) Study, dated June 23, 2021 and has the following comments for your consideration. <br />The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater treatment <br />system (OVVTS) usage and the potential long-term impact of nitrate to groundwater. <br />Based on the information provided, the EHD can make the following findings: <br />The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study supports the suitability for standard OVVTS usage for the <br />proposed development project on the above-mentioned parcel, pursuant to San Joaquin County <br />Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br />Percolation test conducted on June 21, 2021 yield percolation rate of 6.25 minutes/inch. At this rate, <br />an eight-foot soil separation shall be required between bottom of dispersal field and groundwater. <br />Groundwater at the site fluctuate from 8.6 to 16.5 feet below ground surface San Joaquin County <br />Onsite Wastewater Treatment Standard table 1.10.2. <br />Prior to issuance of building permit, open, pump and backfill the septic tank permit number (2223) <br />under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County <br />Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br />According to permit (90-2884), there are three monitoring wells at the site.
