All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool light is not operational. Post a sign stating " No use of pool allowed after dark". Secure pool area <br />and do not permit any use of pool after dark. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: No written pool log. Maintain written records of all maintenance and test results. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmer located in the southern area of the pool is missing the weir. Skimmer located in the northern <br />area of the pool is missing the O-ring. Install a weir and O-ring in their respective locations. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
