All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH of the pool is greater than 8.0. Take immediate action to bring the pH of the pool to the range of <br />7.2 to 7.8 or face closure. <br />Unable to correct on site. Pool closed at 10:50am <br />The scheduled re-inspection will occur on Monday, July 26th at/around 10am <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Some of the safety signage (all-in-one sign) is faded. Obtain and install new safety signage by 2 weeks. <br />The west entrance gate lacks "KEEP GATE CLOSED" sign. Obtain and install a KEEP GATE CLOSED sign by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool has algae. Take action to rid the pool of algae. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae.
