AC Title 14 CCR 17407.5 – Hazardous Waste – Uncapped wet batteries are being stored on wood pallets. <br />a. Place open or damaged batteries in secondary containment and treat as Hazardous Waste. <br />b. Provide adequate storage of Hazardous Wastes. <br />Notes: <br />A. <br />Eye wash station on north side was back in service (previous AC cleared). <br />B. <br />Compactor was not in operation at time of inspection. Be sure to operate compactor in accordance <br />with SWFP and TPR. <br />C. <br />Waste pile volume was moderate at time of inspection. Keep waste pile height less than 12 feet. <br />D. <br />Dust level was low at time of inspection. Observed misters being used during site visit (previous AC <br />cleared). <br />E. <br />Observed loader screening out u -wastes from waste pile.
