AC Title 14 CCR 17407.5 — Hazardous Waste — Auto batteries are being stored on the floor at west side of <br />facility. Two batteries had cracked cases which could leak battery acid. <br />a. Place open or damaged batteries in secondary containment and treat as.hazardous waste. <br />2. AC Title 14 CCR 17407.2 — Cleaning — Observed dirty conditions on U -waste recycling area ground. <br />a. Provide more adequate cleaning. <br />3. AC Title 14 CCR 17410.1 — Solid Waste Removal — Waste pile volume was moderate at time of site visit. <br />According to operator, the accumulations of waste piles were due to compactor being in disrepair. <br />Notes: <br />a. All solid wastes shall be removed with in 48 hours. <br />b. SWFP Section 17 Item 14 (i) requires that waste pile not to exceed 12 feet in height. <br />A. Eye wash station on north side was not working properly. Repair eye wash station. <br />B. Dust level was low at time of inspection. Misters were being used throughout inspection. <br />C. Random Load Inspection Record was not found for 1/8/07.Provide record. Be sure to document each <br />working day at Random Load Inspection Records. <br />D.
