Waiver of the 48 hours must be requested and <br /> confirmed by the Commissioner before the start of the application. <br /> 2. Minimum buffer zone distance of 25 feet. <br /> 3. Certified Applicator Training <br /> Qualified Applicator Licensees(QAL)and Qualified Applicator Certificates(QAC)with subcategory"O" meet the labeled <br /> training requirement for Certified Applicators in charge of fumigations. If the QAC or QAL does not have subcategory"O"then <br /> training may be provided by the fumigant registrant(specific to active ingredient)and/or available online at <br /> www.epa.gov/fumiganttraining. Training must be renewed every 3 years and recorded on the Fumigation Management Plan <br /> prior to fumigant use. A Private Applicator Certificate does NOT meet this requirement and must complete the registrant <br /> training prior to fumigant use. <br />
