S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> O'Reilly Auto Parts#2736 3323 N Tracy Blvd,Tracy JUly 28, 2021 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -A white container labeled as hazardous waste brake shavings was missing an accumulation start date. Based on <br /> on-site disposal records the facility had brake savings last picked up on 1/6/2020, more than 90 days ago. <br /> -A 5-gallon container labeled as retail alkaline liquids hazardous waste and storing a bottle of Super Clean All <br /> Wheel Cleaner was missing the accumulation start date.The wheel cleaner was not found on the facility's retail <br /> hazardous waste log,thus it could not be determined when the wheel cleaner was placed in the hazardous waste <br /> container. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -A white container labeled as hazardous waste brake shavings was missing an accumulation start date. <br /> -Two 1-gallon containers of coolant were in plastic bags in the hazardous waste storage area.According to Carl <br /> Hause, Store Manager,the containers of coolant were damaged and going to be disposed of as hazardous waste. <br /> The coolant containers were missing the words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous <br /> properties, physical state, composition (contents), and accumulation start date. <br /> -A 5-gallon container storing retail flammable liquids hazardous waste was labeled with the incorrect generator <br /> name and address, O'Reilly#3460, 1210 N Tracy Blvd, and was missing the accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
