External Shell Visually inspect and record all shell course <br /> Inspection surfaces for weld and plate material integrity. Light general corrosion, moderate local <br /> X corrosion. Through wall corrosion from the <br /> 2.1 ( a ) Check all welded or riveted seams for <br /> internal surface with active leak. <br /> Shell External indication of leakage. <br /> Visually inspect and record paint/ coating <br /> 2.1 ( b ) failures, and insulation loss. Check for X 90% failure <br /> associated pitting and corrosion. <br /> 2.1 c <br /> ( ) Inspect bottom angle area, and shell to <br /> annular plate welds for corrosion and thinning. X <br /> 2.1 ( d ) Inspect bottom to foundation seal, if any. X <br /> 2.1 ( e ) Check plumbness. X Visually accepted. <br /> 2.1 ( f) Check roundness in accordance. X <br /> 2.1 ( g ) Check peaking. X <br /> 2.1 ( h ) Check banding. X <br /> Inspect insulation for evidence of weepage <br /> 2.1 ( i ) from leaks and possible infiltration of rain X <br /> water or other liquid sources. <br />
