Level: API -653 #36530 <br />Inspector: Gregory Fann <br />Summary: <br />The subject 180 gallon capacity atmospheric storage tank was inspected per the above scope and evaluated per the specified STI SP -001. <br />Further details may be referenced in the attached Checklist, Calculation sheet, TML report, Image sheet, or Drawing. <br />Results: <br />I) Coating Failure, up to 50% of the shell and ends. <br />2) Light local corrosion at coating failures. No measurable scale or pitting. <br />3) Fuel oil leak with dust build up. (seepage and dirt) <br />4) In -adequate support bracing for earth quake zone. <br />5) Heavy corrosion of support base. <br />Recommendations: <br />I) Clean and re -coat tank shell to prevent further corrosion. <br />2) Clean and re -coal tank shell to prevent further corrosion. <br />3) Clean oil and dirt <br />from shell, assess leak point and consider repair/replacement. <br />4) Add addequate bracing or replace to prevent swaying. <br />5) Repine <br />corroded sections of support base. <br />6) Continue scheduled inspection program per ST[ SP -001 and O -I company policies and procedures. <br />
