Liquid level sensing devices must be installed in accordance with CFR 112.8 and <br /> shall be regularly tested to ensure proper operation. Immediately conduct all necessary testing of liquid level sensing <br /> devices, or provide equivalence as allowed by CFR 112.7(a)(2).Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 719 CFR 112.8(c)(10) Failed to promptly correct visible discharges and/or remove accumulations of oil in diked areas. <br /> Oily staining and standing oil were noted below the used oil tanks located in the vicinity of the onsite oil water <br /> separators. Furthermore, the oil water separator, which was full of oily liquid at the time of inspection, is being used <br /> as a secondary containment for the 1,750-gallon used oil tank. Visible discharges which result in a loss of oil from a <br /> container, including but not limited to seams, gaskets, piping, pumps, valves, rivets, and bolts, must be promptly <br /> corrected. Immediately fix all leaks and clean all visible staining , and manage according to the California Code of <br /> Regulations Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Maintain all diked areas free of all accumulations. Submit proof of <br /> correction to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) inspectors (Elena Manzo and Michelle Henry) conducted a routine Abov, <br /> Ground Petroleum Storage (APSA) inspection on April 14 and April 15, 2016. An inspection checklist was provide( <br /> to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The EHD has written the complete report which replaces the initia <br /> checklist. According to the reviewed documentation this facility has a total shell capacity of 28,813 gallons.
