All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545 <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Address faded and diarrhea sign not posted. Relabel and post before reopening pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION.,Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535)Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole,gate,or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users,unless otherwise specified.(CBC 31208) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pool light not working. Repair or replace; post sign"no swimming after dark'if light cannot be <br /> replaced/repaired before it is reopened. This is a repeat. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting.If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational,the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK'and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Free chlorine about 50 ppm. Reduce and maintain between 2 to 10 ppm. Pool is closed. This is a <br /> repeat. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level <br /> OBSERVATIONS:CYA> 100 ppm. Reduce to< 100 ppm by draining/refilling pool or by use of chemical products.
