b. On-site improvements shall also include fire hydrants for the proposed cul-de-sac area and parking <br />lot. The Fire Department will require review of the on-site utility plans as well. <br />c. The Stockton Fire Department requests that the civil design team for the project engage with Fire <br />Prevention staff to determine best placement for off-site and on-site fire hydrants. <br />d. Fire lane dedication shall be provided in the proposed new cul-de-sac and with the parking lot area. <br />The Stockton Fire Department will identify those areas upon time of plan check review. <br />e. Based on the proposed building area, use and occupancy classification (assembly), the building will <br />require an automatic fire sprinkler system designed and installed per NFPA 13 Standards. <br />f. Based on the proposed building area, use and occupancy classification (assembly), the building will <br />require a manual fire alarm system, if the occupant load exceeds 300 persons. <br />g. Portable fire extinguishers will be required throughout the building. <br />h. Building exiting shall meet CBC and CFC Chapter 10. <br />i. Occupant loads shall be properly calculated. A sign shall be posted in areas required by the CBC <br />and/or CFC. <br />j. Deferred submittals will be required to the Stockton Fire Department for the following: Underground <br />fire line utilities, overhead fire sprinklers, and fire alarm system. <br />k. Building and site work plans shall also be submitted to the Stockton Fire Department for review and <br />approval. <br />I. Once the building is completed with construction and Certificate of Occupancy has been granted, <br />the Stockton Fire Department will issue an operational fire permit for Place of Assembly. <br />5.
