Hi Alisa, My apologies fora late response. I have reviewed the proposed project. The following fire review comments would be applicable: • The site will require evaluation for off-site(public)utility improvements along the frontage of Main Street and Miwuk Village Drive. This is specific to having fire hydrants installed along the frontage of the property. Fire hydrants are required at every 300 feet apart. An off-site utility plan will be required for this project. The Stockton Fire Department will be involved with the review of the off-site plan. • On-site improvements shall also include fire hydrants for the proposed cul-de-sac area and parking lot. The Fire Department will require review of the on-site utility plans as well. • The Stockton Fire Department requests that the civil design team for the project engage with Fire Prevention staff to determine best placement for off-site and on-site fire hydrants. • Fire lane dedication shall be provided in the proposed new cul-de-sac and within the parking lot area. The Stockton Fire Department will identify those areas upon time of plan check review. • Based on the proposed building area,use and occupancy classification(assembly),the building will require an automatic fire sprinkler system designed and installed per NFPA 13 Standards. • Based on the proposed building area,use and occupancy classification(assembly),the building will require a manual fire alarm system,if the occupantload exceeds 300 persons. • Portable fire extinguishers will be required throughout the building. • Building exiting shall meet CBC and CFC Chapter 10. • Occupant loads shall be properly calculated. A sign shall be posted in areas required by the CBC and/or CFC. • Deferred submittals will be required to the Stockton Fire Department for the following:Underground fire line utilities,overhead fire sprinklers,and fire alarm system. • Building and site work plans shall also be submitted to the Stockton Fire Department for review and approval. • Once the building is completed with construction and Certificate of Occupancy has been granted,the Stockton Fire Department will issue an operational fire permit for Place of Assembly.
