The following is an itemized list of hazardous materials violations that have not been <br /> addressed for ESCALON UNIFIED SCHOOL DIST as of September 29, 2021. <br /> Open violations from August 06, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation#5-Failed to electronically submit hazardous materials inventory for all reportable materials on <br /> site. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following chemicals were found on site that have not been reported to CERS: <br /> -One 55 gallon drum of used antifreeze <br /> -One 55 gallon drum of Never B4 vehicle cleaner <br /> -One 240 gallon tank of used oil <br /> -Eight 5 gallon buckets of paint <br /> -10 pallets of fertilizer/plant food <br /> -5 buckets of Calcium Hypochlorite(100 pounds each) <br /> -Two 55 gallon drums of ethylene glycol (55 gallons reported) <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:Any material that meets or exceeds the reportable quantity shall be reported in the <br /> facility's business plan. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, add the materials to the hazardous material inventory, and submit to the EHD for <br /> approval. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#6-Failed to electronically submit a site map with all required content. <br /> OBSERVATION: The site map is incomplete. The following elements are missing or inaccurate: <br /> -Loading areas are not included on site map <br /> -Access&exit points are not included on site map <br /> -Spill kits are not included on site map <br /> -Internal roads are not included on site map <br /> -Fire extinguishers are not accurate on site map <br /> -Storm drains are not accurate on site map <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A site map shall contain a north orientation, loading areas, internal roads, adjacent <br /> streets, storm and sewer drains, access and exit points, emergency shutoffs, evacuation staging areas, hazardous <br /> material handling and storage areas, and emergency response equipment. <br /> If a site map element is not applicable for your facility then list it on the map and label as"NA". <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, upload the correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
