The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: <br /> -A 55-gallon drum of drained used metal oil filters was inaccurately labeled as"Drained Non-Metal (Paper, Fiber, or <br /> Plastic)Used Oil Cartridge Filters And Fuel Filters Only"and was missing the accumulation start date. Based on <br /> disposal records reviewed on-site,the facility's drained used metal oil filters were picked up on 10/27/2020, not <br /> greater than one year. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline <br /> filters", depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Note:All metal oil and fuel <br /> filters should be drained of free-flowing liquid, and stored in closed, rainproof containers.All used filters stored <br /> on-site greater than one year should be disposed. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this <br /> section are regulated as hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. A complete report was <br /> amended and finished on 8/17/2021 and replaces the initial checklist. The inspection report was amended by <br /> adding violation 601. <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 9/16/2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
