Diesel was released onto the road way and <br />flowed into the dirt on the shoulder of the road. Manteca Fire placed absorbent on the roadway and swept contaminated <br />absorbent to the shoulder. Spill site on dirt covers an approximate area of 10x30 feet. No waterways or storm drains were <br />impacted. Spill site is contained with caution tape and traffic cones. <br />City of Lathrop to investigate and abate contamination under the over site of the appropriate lead agency. City of Lathrop to <br />provide SJC EHD with disposal records of the waste generated and any analytical of the waste. <br />VIOLATIONS: <br />Discharge of any waste, including sewage <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br />Discharge of waste or sewage to water or within 150 ft. of waterway <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Sections 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br />Improper disposal of a hazardous waste <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br />Permitting or Maintaining a Nuisance <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Section 8-5100) <br />Other Violation <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS / ORDER: <br />m Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br />Immediately <br />Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the EHD. <br />Within 30 days. <br />Other Correction <br /> <br />WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE NOTICE TO ABATE EHD 25-01 Rev. 9/16/2020 Page 1 of 2 <br />1868 E.
