Confirmed CHP is still on site and no <br />waterways or storm drains impacted. <br />7:56 pm-left for site. <br />8:20 pm- Arrived on site and met with Sergeant Barbara Butler of the California <br />Highway Patrol and James De Jong (responsible party). Approximately 10 gallons <br />of gasoline was released from an automobile accident. Spill site covers an <br />approximate area of 12x12 inches in soil and is approximately 30 feet from <br />roadway on private property. No waterways or storm drains impacted. CHP <br />marked off area with spray paint. Site is pending clean-up. CHP unable to <br />contact property owner. Discussed clean-up of site with James De Jong and the <br />Notice to Abate. <br />8:33pm-Left site. Generated complaint. Completed Notice to Abate, photo log, <br />Prop 65, Emergency Response Record and site map. Verified GIS in EC. <br />Emailed Notice to Abate to James De Jong at jameswdj75@gmail.com. <br />7:42pm-9:48pm <br />06/07/2021 Turned in Prop 65 to Haza Saeed (Lead Sr. REHS) for review. BAKER <br />06/11/2021 Received email from James De Jong at jameswdj75@gmail.com that the clean-up <br />is complete. Went to site to verify clean-up. Clean-up is complete. Two <br />approximately 1 foot diameter excavations were made. The norther excavation <br />was approximately one foot deep and the other was approximately six inches <br />deep. Left site. <br />BAKER <br />07/07/2021 Clean-up was conducted on 6/11/2021. Received disposal record on 7/3/21 from <br />jameswdj75@gmail.com. 200 pounds of contaminated soil was disposed of at the <br />county HHW on 7/3/21. <br />BAKER <br />Abated complaint as 01-Violations cited and corrected.
