Spill was <br />reported to City of Stockton Public Works after hours staff. On 6/10/2021, the oil filters and 55 gallon drum were removed. <br />An oily blanket and three used oil filters were left on site. Oil spill was covered with absorbent and left. <br />City of Stockton to investigate and abate contamination from the drum of used oil filters. City of Stockton to notify SJC EHD <br />when clean-up is complete for verification. Disposal records for waste generated will be reviewed during the next routine <br />hazardous waste inspection. <br />VIOLATIONS: <br />Discharge of any waste, including sewage <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 5411) <br />Discharge of waste or sewage to water or within 150 ft. of waterway <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Sections 9-1125.3, 9-1125.4) <br />Improper disposal of a hazardous waste <br />(CA Health and Safety Code 25189.5) <br />Permitting or Maintaining a Nuisance <br />(SJC Ordinance Code Section 8-5100) <br />Other Violation <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS / ORDER: <br />Investigate and abate contamination under the oversite of the appropriate lead agency. <br />Immediately <br />Submit copies of hazardous waste manifests/disposal records to the END. <br />Other Correction <br />WASTE DISCHARGE/SPILL RESPONSE NOTICE TO ABATE EHD 25-01 Rev. 9/16/2020 Page 1 of 2 <br />1868 E.
