Called SJGH at 209-468-6005. CHP BAKER <br />reported a 10 gallon diesel spill at MacArthur and Linne in Tracy. <br />Called CHP at 209-943-8600. No waterways or storm drains impacted. Left for <br />site at 8:02am. <br />Arrived on site. Spill site on northwest corner of MacArthur and Linne Road. Spill <br />site from south side of tracks to the westbound lane of Linne Road. Spill is on <br />ballast and dirt in four different spots. No storm drains or waterways impacted. <br />Spill is contained. Spoke with SJC Public Works. VSS will take responsibility for <br />the clean-up but are not on site yet. <br />Generated complaint, Emergency Response Record and Prop 65. Completed <br />photo log. <br />Keith Jones provided phone number (916-524-5079) for Troy, the person to <br />contact regarding clean-up. Left site. <br />Called and left a message for Troy (Safety for VSSI) at 916-524-5079 regarding <br />clean-up. <br />2:02 pm Called Troy again. Number is a wrong number. Headed out to site <br />again. Arrived on site at approximately 2:40 pm. Tractor was in the process of <br />being removed. SJC Public Works cleaned street with absorbent and pushed <br />absorbent to the shoulder of the road. Met with Marty Mosley (VP <br />Operations-Fremouw Environmental). Clean-up will begin 6/10/2021. A guzzler <br />will be used to remove impacted ballast and soil. No backfilling is anticipated but <br />one spot may be deeper. Met with Roman Benedyuk (Safety and Compliance <br />Mangaer). Explained that SJC EHD needs to be notified when clean-up is <br />complete for verification and will need a copy of the disposal record for the waste <br />generated.
