Vesphene <br />Ilse detergent concentrate diluted one ounce per gallon (0.8% v/v) in 400 ppm (as CaCO3) hard water is effective against <br />Trichophyton mentagrophytes in the presence of 5% blood serum in 10 minutes at 20°C (680F)_ <br />Vesphene I Ise germicidal detergent passes the AOAC Tuberculocidal Test[Mycobacterium tuberculosis var. bovis(BCG)]when <br />diluted one ounce per gallon (0.8% v/v) with 400 ppm AOAC hard water in the presence of 5% organic soil (serum), 10 minutes <br />at 20°C (680F). <br />PROPERTIESVIRUCIDAL <br />Influenza Az (Japan), Herpes Simplex Type 2, Vaccinia and Adenovirus Type 2 in the presence of 5% blood serum were <br />inactivated by Vesphene Ilse Germicidal Detergent diluted one ounce per gallon (0.8% v/v) with 400 ppm (as CaCO3) hard <br />water using the EPA accepted glass slide procedure, 10 minutes at 20°C (68°17). <br />When tested by an EPA approved dilution method, a dried film of HIV-1 (AIDS) virus, with added 10% organic soil (serum) was <br />completely inactivated by a one ounce per gallon (0.8% v/v) solution of Vesphene I Ise detergent in 400 ppm AOAC hard water <br />in one minute at 20°C (680F). Although efficacy at one minute contact time has been shown to be adequate for HIV-1, this time <br />would not be sufficient for other organisms. Use a 10 -minute contact time for all organisms. <br />Cleaning and Disinfecting Washable, Hard, Non -Porous Surfaces <br />Add one fluid ounce to each measured gallon (0.8%v/v) of water used. Always add this productto premeasured water. Thoroughly <br />mix solution until uniform. Apply solution with a cloth, sponge, mop or brush using normal cleaning methods. Thoroughly wet <br />all surfaces to be cleaned, then remove excess solution with a wrung -out applicator. Treated surfaces should remain wet for 10 <br />minutes_ Remove gross fifth mechanically by sweeping before cleaning begins. Discard solution daily, or when it becomes dirty, <br />and replace with fresh solution. A properly prepared solution of Vesphene Ilse Germicidal Detergent intended for use as a hard <br />surface disinfectant has a shelf life of 14 days (use life) in a closed container such as a spray bottle. This is a complete product. <br />Do not add other chemicals. Use only as directed on the label. <br />
