Sanfilippo, <br /> As previously discussed, CEMEX Construction Materials Pacific, LLC ( CEMEX ) is <br /> requesting the ability to install and operate a portable recycled concrete processing <br /> facility on the CEMEX Kerlinger mine site ( QX- 80 - 001 ; CA Mine Id . # 91 - 39 - 0015 ) . A Site <br /> Improvement Plan application is included as Attachment A, " Site Improvement Plan <br /> Application, " to this cover letter . The following provides a description of the proposed <br /> portable recycled concrete processing facility to supplement the attached application . <br /> CEMEX is requesting the ability to temporarily install and operate a portable recycled <br /> concrete processing facility within the existing aggregate processing and ready-mix <br /> concrete production areas of the CEMEX Kerlinger mine site . As shown on Attachment <br /> B . " Site Plan, " the portable processing facility would be in one of two areas of the site <br /> where existing recycled material stockpiles are stored . The portable processing facility <br /> would include two jaw crushers, two impact crushers, one track stacker conveyor, and <br /> one radial stacker . In total, the portable processing equipment footprint would not <br /> exceed two acres and have a maximum height of 30 feet ( significantly shorter than <br /> existing permitted stationary processing facilities and associated infrastructure . ) As <br /> shown in Attachment C, " Equipment Types and Specifications, " the equipment is track- <br /> mounted or wheeled and does not require any concrete footings, foundations, or <br /> anchoring to install and operate . As a result, the portable processing equipment would <br /> not result in any new surface disturbance or infrastructure improvements at the site . <br /> Operationally, the portable processing facility would operate for a period of 3045 days <br /> twice a year after which time the equipment would be removed from the site . The <br /> portable processing facility would crush, sort, and stockpile the recycled materials <br /> similar to existing stationary processing facilities .
