This letter is to inform you that a separate permit is required for the <br /> installation of a pump into the new well and for any subsequent pump repair or pump <br /> replacement work if the sanitary seal is broken (San Joaquin County Development Title 9- <br /> 1115.3). <br /> The pump service contractor or property owner is able to obtain a permit for a new pump <br /> installation and subsequent pump repair or pump replacement work (San Joaquin County Well <br /> Standards Section 2.2). Permitting fee is based on current fee schedule. <br /> A 100% penalty fee may be assessed for pump work done without the proper permit filed with <br /> this department (Environmental Health Department Policy). <br /> This department has not yet received a permit for the installation of a new pump for the above <br /> mentioned water well.
