All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Rope lacking for life ring. Provide. Ok, corrected. Rope provided that spans the widith of the pool. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed -length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17 -inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool light does not turn on, however GFI is functional. Provide operative light within 2 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwaterlight fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4 -inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK "and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br />#12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: pH is at 8.0. Provide at a maximum of 7.8. <br />Ok, corrected approximately 1/2 c of muriatic acid added. pH is now at 7.4. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
