The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for VALLEY SMOG & REPAIR as of October22 , 2021 . <br /> Open violations from August 30, 2021 inspection <br /> Violation #113 - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years . <br /> OBSERVATION The facility could not provide all of the consolidated manifest receipts for hazardous waste <br /> transported from the site in the past three years . The missing receipts are for the following dates: 08/ 16/2018 , <br /> 02/11/2018 , 10/4/2018 , 1 /31 /2019 , 6/25/2019 , 5/2/2019 , 3/21 /2019 , 7/25/19 , 1 / 18/21 , and 2/19/2021 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years . <br /> This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding <br /> the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Locate a copy of the receipts listed above . Maintain the records on -site for three years <br /> from the date of shipping and provide a copy to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department ( EHD ) . <br /> If the receipts cannot be found , provide a statement to the EHD that future receipts will be maintained on-site for <br /> three years . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #117 - Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report. <br /> OBSERVATION This business did not provide a written response to the inspection report dated 08/04/2016 within <br /> 30 days . The report was delivered to the business on 08/04/2016 . <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The operator of the site or facility which receives an inspection report shall submit a <br /> written response to the department or the local officer or agency authorized to enforce this chapter pursuant to <br /> subdivision (a) of Section 25180 within 60 days of receipt of the inspection report, or within a shorter time as the <br /> department or the local officer or agency may reasonably require , which shall include a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken by the operator or proposing corrective actions which will be taken by the operator, for <br /> purposes of compliance with this chapter, or disputing the existence of the violation. The local agency, the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, requires response within 30 days . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) . <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
