Moratorium on building is in place since 1989 because the existing wells are
in violation of secondary MCLs for TDS, Specific Conductance, and iron. Original moratorium letters were sent to
the water system in July and October of 1989 by Carl Lischeske. Again in August and November of 2008 Joe
Spano sent letters to Harry Lawrence, Building Committee Chairman of San Joaquin River Club stating the
Department’s position on moratorium. The applicant can contact the Harry Lawrence, Building Committee
Chairman of San Joaquin River Club for further information on the moratorium. We have a note on the parcels there is a moratorium on building
at this location as the water system does not have the capacity.€ Is this still the case?
Please let me know who with CDPH the applicant can contact to get information on the moratorium, if CDPH
has this development under permit.
Thanks
Adrienne
Adrienne Ellsaesser, REHS
Acting Program Coordinator
