All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be comected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Chlorine level measured at 16.4 ppm.Corrected during inspection. Observed Nick pour neutralizer into <br /> pool to reduce the chlorine level. Final measurement is at 10.0 ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations:1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas,wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Cyanuric Acid is higher than 100ppm. Must be maintained below 100 ppm. Repeat violation.Drain half of <br /> the pool within 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Pool light is not working on the deep end of the pool. Repair/replace bulb immediately. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark.
