All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Rescue pole is lacking. Provide. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided,maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Records are not being maintained. Maintain records. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operatorshall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.(CCR 65523) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Water is cloudy, however main drain is visible. Continue working on water clarity. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool.
