All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The free chlorine level of the spa is greater than 20 ppm. Immediately reduce the free chlorine level to <br /> the range of 3.0 to 10.0 ppm. MAJOR VIOLATIONICLOSURE CONDITION <br /> Half of the spa water was drained and fresh water was added. <br /> Free chlorine rechecked at 11:10am 18.5ppm <br /> Spa shall remain closed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine.
