SHE ORDERED A CHORIZO <br /> AND EGG BURRITO.WHEN SHE TOOK A BITE, SHE CHIPPED HER FRONT TOOTH ON A PIECE OF METAL FROM <br /> THE CHORIZO WRAPPER. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed white hominy cans being opened and drained into a container outside under canopy. Cease <br /> this practice immediately and do all food prep/handling inside the kitchen. <br /> Observed uncovered food items in 3 dr True cooler. Cover food items immediately. <br /> Observed raw meat and eggs stored over vegetables in 3 dr True. Store raw food items separately or under other food <br /> items. (113984(a,b, c,d, 0, 113986, 114060, <br /> 114067(a, d, e,j), I14069(a,b), 114077, 114089.1 (c), 114143(c)) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Complaint inspection. <br /> Spoke with owner over the phone,they were aware of the complaint. <br /> Per owner the chorizo is delivered from SYSCO after which it is stored in the 3 dr True cooler next to the cook line or in the <br /> prep top of the 3 dr reach-in w/prep top. They receive Cacique and EI Mexicano brand chorizo. <br /> Observed EI Mexicano brand chorizo during inspection.
