Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) #18 Pool Shell and Tile OBSERVATIONS: The pool plaster is cracked and pitted. Re-plaster the pool by next season. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 3108B) #19 Depth Markers OBSERVATIONS: The depth markers on the pool deck are faded. Re-paint depth markers by 1 month. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
