All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classed as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH is 8.0. Re -test pH in a few hours to ensure it is 7.2 to 7.8. <br />(acid was added by maintenance 5-10 minutes prior to inspector's arrival). <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />#14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br />OBSERVATIONS: Facility has an OTO test kit. Obtain a DPD test kit for future use. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine, pH, and <br />cyanuric acid (if used) at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br />type.
