The plans shall <br /> include the design calculations, including the maximum number of persons the sewage <br /> disposal system is proposed to serve. In addition, show on revised plans that the disposal <br /> field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage <br /> area. This disposal field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot <br /> contain any underground utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> 5) Prohibited discharges into OWTS include: septic tank pumpings, automobile and garage <br /> waste, storm drainage, solvents and toxics, solids, garbage, kitchen wastewater from <br /> restaurant or bar, air conditioners, hazardous wastes, backwash, truck terminal wastes, <br /> recreational vehicle holding tank waste, industrial and manufacturing waste, and food <br /> processing wastes (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.7 and San <br /> Joaquin County OWTS Standard). <br /> 6) The OWTS shall be designed to receive all domestic sewage and wastewater from the <br /> property. Only domestic sewage is allowed to discharge into the OWTS. No basement, <br /> footing or surface drainage or discharge from water softener, iron filter, pool filters, or water <br /> treatment systems shall be permitted to enter any part of the OWTS. (San Joaquin County <br /> OWTS Standards 1.10.1) <br /> 7) Construction of an individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). <br /> 8) The existing private water wells shall be tested for nitrates and arsenic concentration with the <br /> results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to recordation of the parcel <br /> or final map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory. (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> 9) Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The <br /> Environmental Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br />
