All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH is greater than 8.0. Immediately reduce the pH to the range of 7.2 to 7.8 or face closure. <br />Acid demand requires 1.43qt of acid. <br />Approximately 1.5 qt. of acid was added. <br />pH re-check is 7.2 <br />MAJOR violation corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Safety signage is missing the apartment complex's name and address (for emergency signage). Write in <br />the name and address of the complex on the emergency signage. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: An effluent gauge is missing. Install an effluent gauge by 2 weeks . <br />REPEAT VIOLATION from 2020 pool season. <br />The influent gauge is not functioning (needle appears bent). Repair/replace the influent gauge by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
