The <br /> hazardous waste label was missing the accumulation start date. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste tanks shall be marked with the words"Hazardous Waste"and the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Shop Supervisor Ward Covert <br /> correcting the label. No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -One 500 gallon tank storing used oil was missing an accumulation start date <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum holding used antifreeze was missing an accumulation start date <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum holding used paper oil filters had a 1/5/2021 accumulation start date <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> In the hazardous waste storage area: <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum containing used antifreeze(1/4 full)had a hazardous waste label missing the <br /> accumulation start date. <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum containing oily debris(1/8 full)had a hazardous waste label missing the hazardous <br /> property. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by Shop Supervisor Ward Covert <br /> correcting the labels.
