AC Title 14 CCR 17407.5—Haz.,Liq.,& Special Wastes—Observed leaking freon and oil from two air <br /> conditioning units at U-waste recycling area. No containment or absorbent being used at time of inspection. <br /> a. Need to more thoroughly check for designated/hazardous wastes in waste piles. <br /> b. Provide additional training to raise level of handling and storing of hazardous <br /> wastes. <br /> 2. AC Title 14 CCR 17407.4—Dust Control-Dusty conditions observed at time of inspection. <br /> a. Provide adequate dust control. <br /> b. Keep waste piles smaller to decrease dust. <br /> Notes: <br /> A. Three new rodent bait stations (one on the west side and two on the south side) installed in transfer <br /> building. <br /> B. Compactor was not in operation at time of inspection .Be sure to operate compactor in accordance <br /> with SWFP and TPR. <br /> C. Batteries stored on pallets appeared to be not cracked and were capped(AC cleared). <br /> D. New safety vests worn by all tipping floor personnel(AC cleared). <br /> E.
