MULTI-PURPOSE SOUND SYSTEM
Section 16780
15-1207
throughout the specified coverage area.
b. Electronic and acoustic frequency response one third octave equalization;
refer to International Electro mechanical Commission Recommendations
No. 179 and 225, and Altec Bulletin AL -1043.
C. Maximum continuous sound pressure level (in the reverberant field); utilize
a source of octave band pink noise centered at 1 kHz, measure at ear level
on loudspeaker axis. Sustain for at least five minutes with no system
component damage.
d. Acoustic signal to noise ratio referenced to the specified maximum
continuous sound pressure level in the reverberant field; utilize a source of
octave band pink noise, centered at 1 kHz, with the mechanical systems
not operational.
e. Acoustic gain before feedback; refer to Altec Bulletin AL -1968. Locate
acoustic source (loudspeaker/pink noise generator) two feet from
microphone. Measure at most distant listener position at ear level.
3.11 CLEANING:
A. GENERAL: Keep premises free from accumulation of waste and rubbish. At the
completion of work remove all surplus materials, rubbish, and debris. Upon completion,
thoroughly clean all exposed surfaces per manufacturer's instructions.
END OF SECTION
27
