CONCRETE REINFORCEMENT <br />Section 03200 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 SCOPE <br />A. Complete steel reinforcing for all concrete and masonry work shown or specified to be <br />reinforced, as indicated on the drawings as described. Coordinate this work with the other <br />work affected by these operations, such as forms, electrical work, mechanical work, and <br />structural steel concrete. <br />1.03 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 01400, Testing Laboratory Services. <br />B. Section 03100, Concrete Formwork. <br />C. Section 03300, Cast -In -Place Concrete. <br />D. Section 04300, Concrete Masonry Unit. <br />1.04 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Project Inspector. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />D. Conflicting requirements: In the event of conflict between pertinent codes and regulations <br />and the requirements of the referenced standards or these specifications, the provisions of <br />the more stringent shall govern. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Certificates: Submit two (2) certified copies of mill test reports for each bundle of reinforcing <br />bars delivered to the site, indicating physical and chemical properties for each heat. In <br />addition, show correlation between a specific heat number and specific sizes from that heat <br />
