Solid Core Flush Veneered Wood Doors: WI Custom Grade, type A. 1. Interior Doors: Particleboard core conforming to all requirements of ANSI A208.1, Grade #1-L-1, 1-3/4" thick (unless otherwise noted). 2. No defects in core large enough to show through fare or materially affect strength of door. 3. Use PS51 type i (fully waterproof) adhesive for bonding face and back veneers and cross -banding to each other and to core; use Type Il (water resistant) adhesive for bonding core unit strips and edge banding. 4. Proves vertical edge -bands, not less than 3/4 thick after trimming, and hardwood species closely matching face veneer in density and appearance. Provide top and bottom edge -bands 1" thick (one or baro -piece), some species and density as vertical edge -band. Securely glue edge -bands to core.
