Solid Core Flush Veneered Wood Doors: WI Custom Grade, type A. <br />1. Interior Doors: Particleboard core conforming to all requirements of ANSI A208.1, <br />Grade #1-L-1, 1-3/4" thick (unless otherwise noted). <br />2. No defects in core large enough to show through fare or materially affect strength of <br />door. <br />3. Use PS51 type i (fully waterproof) adhesive for bonding face and back veneers and <br />cross -banding to each other and to core; use Type Il (water resistant) adhesive for <br />bonding core unit strips and edge banding. <br />4. Proves vertical edge -bands, not less than 3/4 thick after trimming, and hardwood <br />species closely matching face veneer in density and appearance. Provide top and <br />bottom edge -bands 1" thick (one or baro -piece), some species and density as vertical <br />edge -band. Securely glue edge -bands to core. Top and bottom bands may be <br />secured in place with machine joint. Doweling of vertical to horizontal edge -bands for <br />oversize doors is permitted. -4=0i-- <br />a. <br />4=0i_a.
