OVERHEAD COILING DOORS <br />Section 08330 <br />15-1207 <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 INCLUSION OF OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />A. The General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 are fully applicable to this <br />Section, as if repeated herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE <br />A. Section 04300, Concrete Masonry Unit. <br />B. Section 06100, Rough Carpentry. <br />C. Section 08710, Finish Hardware, for cylinder core and keys. <br />D. Section 09900, Painting. <br />E. Section 11400, Food Service Equipment. <br />F. Division 16, Electrical Work. <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Use only new materials and products, unless existing materials or products are specifically <br />shown otherwise on the Drawings to be salvaged and re -used. <br />B. Use materials and products of one manufacturer whenever possible. <br />C. All materials, components, assemblies, workmanship and installation are to be observed by <br />the Owner's Inspector of Record. Work not so inspected is subject to uncovering and <br />replacement. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer to Section 01300. <br />B. Manufacturer's Data: Submit list and complete descriptive data of all products proposed for <br />use. Include manufacturer's specifications, published warranty or guarantee, installation <br />instructions, and maintenance instructions. <br />C. Shop Drawings: Submit showing all parts, connections and anchorages, electrical <br />requirements, adjacent materials, fully dimensioned and noted. <br />D. Submit executed Guarantee of Contractor/Subcontractor per Article 1.05. <br />E. Operation and Maintenance Instructions: Submit to Contractor for inclusion in O & M Manual. <br />Include onetime training to district personnel, as selected by the owner and at a time agreed <br />upon by those involved, on the proper procedure for resetting fire rated doors after fire <br />testing. Upon completion of the training, provide a certificate which includes a description of <br />the type of training, name of company and person providing the training, the date, and those <br />district personnel attending the training session. Submit this document along with the O & M <br />Manual. See Section 01700. <br />
